An architectural partner in the Dominican Republic for overseas owners
A conversation before committing to design
Developing property from another country requires clarity about the site, brief and decision-makers. GARPER ARCHITECTS combines architecture, interiors, visualization and technical services according to agreed needs. An initial conversation reviews available information, gaps and how to structure the scope.\n\nShare location, purchase or ownership stage, available documentation, intended use and stated investment range. For Punta Cana, Cap Cana or Santo Domingo projects, conditions are reviewed for the particular site; a service area is not another office or an automatic approval.
From brief to execution coordination
A scope may include concept, architectural documentation, interiors, specialist coordination, visualization, technical direction or supervision. Identify deliverables and responsibilities for each service; commissioning design does not include every execution task automatically.\n\nFor remote collaboration, agree on language, meetings, approval responsibility and version records. Document decisions on changes. Surveys, studies and on-site checks remain relevant: identify who conducts them and what information reaches the team.
Separate design, due diligence and financial expectations
Ownership, legal representation, tax obligations and financial feasibility require advice from the appropriate professionals. Architectural work does not replace those reviews. A visualization is not evidence of permission, and a stated investment range is not a confirmed construction cost.\n\nBefore proceeding, discuss outstanding studies, third-party dependencies and the service proposal. Review published projects and Joan Pérez’s profile to understand the studio’s professional identity. GARPER Project Advisor gathers context for consultation; it promises no returns, permits or timelines.
